The absoluteBLACK 110/4 BCD Asymmetrical 2v Oval Chainring is designed for Shimano Cranks such as the Dura-Ace 9100, Ultegra 8000, 105 R7000. These are the oval chainrings with market reference in terms of shifting, smoothness of pedaling and manufacturing quality. It is not compatible with FSA cranks.

Both the inner and outer oval plates are optimised for smooth shifting. For this reason, the back of the Oval plate has no trimmings, like other oval products on the market. Instead, they design smooth, angled surfaces to help the chain slide quickly and accurately between the chainrings. The outer oval plates have 6 ramps for easy and fast gear changes, even under load. Each outer plate also has 12 down shift points. Instead of steel shifting pins, we use a CNC-machined “ramp and gap” solution. Special raised ramps work in conjunction with the tooth pockets to stabilize the chain when changing position. Oval plates do NOT require any modification to the front derailleur (standard) to function properly.
